I just wanted to take a minute to express our gratitude for the wonderful experience we had at your office. Henry, who is just 2.5 years old was completely at ease during his first visit to the dentist and still talks about it today. He was able to successfully give up his "binky" since the appointment and will often proudly tell others that he gave his binky to sponge bob.
As a past child life specialist and current LCSW, I can't tell you how nice it was to see that you took the time to play with him before the appt began and helped him get to know you and develop trust before the exam. I am also appreciative that I was able to help Henry and sit in the chair with him and also have my husband in the room with us. I am relieved that we found you for Henry's dentist and will for sure be referring other kids to you.

Thank you for your kind words. That's a great question. Studies have shown that using Xylitol as either a sugar substitute or a small dietary addition have demonstrated dramatic reduction in new tooth decay, along with some reversal of existing dental caries. Here is a list of dental products that contains Xylitol in it.
Beta Cell Oral Rinse, B-Fresh Gum, Chicklets Sugarless gum, Clen-dent chewing gum, Epic Gum, Epic Mints, Epic oral rinse, Epic toothpaste, Rembrant Naturals toothpaste, Spry Gum, Spry Xylitol Breath mints, Squigle toothpaste, Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity and Dry Mouth Toothpaste and Trident Gum.

My children are newer patients of yours, and I want to thank you for your wonderful care. I saw your ad in one of the local newspapers about a year back, when your new practice, Smiles for Life Pediatric Dentistry came to the La Grange / Western Springs area. Dr. Kaur is so patient - especially with my son with special needs (Down syndrome). For both of my boys, she allowed us to come in for short visits - to help acclimate them to the office and to the experience, with the goal of not making it traumatic for them.
